Wait, Belkar's alignment isn't Good? What alignment system does OotS use?
What do we say to the God of Death?

...I can't tell if this is tongue-in-cheek or not.

OotS uses the nine-point system from AD&D and 3E: Lawful/Neutral/Chaotic crossed with Good/Neutral/Evil. Belkar is Chaotic Evil. Even if it weren't bloody obvious from his behavior, it's been stated outright on at least two occasions. In fact, we got the exact same joke about Belkar and alignment-related spells (except in reverse) waaaay back here.

There is no fluff. There is no crunch. There are only rules of varying precision.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit, as it shows what one obscure spell can actually do when used correctly.

This strip was worth the long wait. Two winners in a row!

Incidentally, Nale should be going down pretty soon unless he somehow heals himself - he doesn't have too many HPs (triple-classed, remember) and he just got hit by two sneak attacks (with holy arrows I believe) and three or four strikes from Belkar, AFTER suffering damage from traps in the previous comic.
Power clarifies, and absolute power clarifies absolutely.

Can Malack channel positive energy? No... pick better teammates Nale.

Haley has a frost burst bow. The only person who might have a holy weapon is Roy, although maybe Durkon might prepare and cast Align Weapon.
If your D20 Modern PCs don't fear guns, use a bigger battlefield! Smaller battlefields are melee friendly. Cool battlefields in the Forest and Woodlands section of http://www.angelfire.com/rpg2/dungeonsunlimited/
You cannot spend more power points on a psionic power than your manifester level. The metacap is there for balance reasons.

I am still eagerly awaiting mine, but I brought the Schticky Sticks expansion to the game so will be a bit of a wait for me.
