"You struggle to hold onto your misery, Bones? The Light burn you! Then I will keep your soul awhile longer imprisoned in this world" The air around Boris explodes as he blinks out of existence only to reappear next to the blazing skeleton. "And the Light burn you too!" he curses.

The explosion shatters the skeleton miner, tearing apart the bones of its chest, shoulders and arms despite his efforts to defend itself. What is left of it clatters to the ground. The skeleton beside it literally turns to a cloud of white bone dust, disintegrated on the spot. A shadow is wrenched from the remains of the skeleton and drawn into Boris' helm, lighting up yet another emerald jewel upon it.

OOC: @jbear, if you change your teleport destination, I can get CA vs BS thanks to Cunning Stalker, and it will be unable to charge you (or anyone else) on its turn. HAHAHA nevermind. I was gonna slide him into the fire and prone and daze him but nooooo.

Chambers moves in, throwing daggers, but something about the way the fiery skeleton and the raging fires bend the light throws off his aim badly, despite his best efforts to correct his aim.

With her position at the front of the group, Ilse suddenly feels many pairs of eyes watching her as she fights. She smiles faintly and decides to put up a show for her audience. She leaps toward the closest skeleton and makes a wide sweep of her naginata at it in a dramatic flourish. The display is impressive, but it is also terribly aimed; the skeleton easily sidesteps the attack.

At the very least, her performance is flashy enough to distract Boris from the pain of his injuries.

The one by one initiative feels like it has put the brakes on the flow of the game, which was chugging along nicely. Logan has already taken his turn. Can TCO and Alek take our turns? I'm going to kill D3 just to take it out of the initiative order .... -.-

No problem with group initiatives lads and lasses, if you think its better. I forwarded DS3, since the baddies got higher initiative average. So now the rest of the players do their turn, then the baddies and then you lot again.
Heroes are up!
Do read the sblocks please.

OOC: sorry

Alek again casts his frost at the blazing skeleton. "You won't get away this time!" he shouts. Humans are a heroic race. Putting some of this heroism into this attack, Alek increases his chance to hit his foe. Not yet content with his damage to the skeleton, Alek freezes again. Before the attack can even form, the first escapes from Alek. It goes everwhere within 25 ft in the form of snow. Alek curses under his breath. "Sorry mage" he says to Zaroch. He looks like his next dragonfrost might be to himself.

[sblock=actions] standard=dragonfrost vs blazing skeleton.

free action=heroic effort against BS raising attack by 4 from 13 to 17

OOC: Sorry, I tend to skim over the stuff that isn't in character, and I missed the bit about cleaning up initiative order.

Zaroch sends more threads of arcane energy shooting through the air with a flick of the wrist. They land in the ground surrounding the burning skeleton, and with a few select tugs, the mage causes the shadows surrounding the undead creature to animate, which writhe around blindly searching for their quarry. The illusionary shadows find their mark, and entwine the skeletal foe.

"Don't worry about it." Zaroch reassures Alek "It was getting a little hot in here for my tastes anyways."

OOC: Standard: Grasping Shadows against Blazing Skeleton
11 damage, and it is slowed until the end of my next turn.

Move Action: Move back behind cart for cover.

The adventurers release their might over the skeletons, making the tougher looking one fall.
The undead seek to eliminate Ilse it would seem. The skeleton in front of her approaches and delivers a painful blow, only to be blown in pieces after that by the warlock's infernal fury. Her team mates are taken aback from her wrathful display, being the charming joyful person she is.
Rocks from the darkened part of the room keep flying accurately, this time Ilse is almost thrown to the ground by it. She has lost a great deal of blood already.
The other decrepit skeleton throws a rock at Chambers, the mere piece of ore proving more accurate than the ranger's daggers. It hits him in the head, leaving a nice ringing noise.
The fiery undead is not so lucky, affected by the spell, his claw attack is easily dodged by Boris.

[sblock=Mining problems]

Please, whoever put the total damage on the enemies as a whole number, remember I want you to add it like in a formula (=X1+X2+X3) Otherwise I can't track individual damage.

Heroes are up!

Blazing Ore: Each time the Blazing Skeleton misses, his attack will set on fire Ore piles. If a creature starts its turn or enters, a square adjacent to the ore, it takes 5 fire dmg. If it is ON the ore pile, it takes 10 fire dmg, and 5 ongoing fire dmg until it moves out of the Blazing Ore squares.

Pay attention to the map's light, coded with the color of the lines. Orange lines are for lighted areas, while black lines are for dark areas. You can't see Boris, nor the skeleton rock thrower, for example, unless you can see in the dark. Pay attention to the difficult terrain as well, rails, rubble and ore are difficult terrain, costing 2 squares of movement. The cart is blocking terrain.

MAP and COMBAT Mining problems!! sheet contains the map and references are found scrolling down a bit.

Monsters' actions
Decrepit skeletons: Two of them hit Ilse and Chambers for 4 dmg each
Blazing skeleton: Miss. Another ore pile is set alight.
Rock thrower: Critically Hits Ilse for 10 dmg, pushes her next to the flaming Ore!

Boris take 5(4) fire damage for being next to the Blazing skeleton

Questions? Doubts? How are you feeling so far?
I'll have the annoying habit of mentioning all of you in combat situation: Phoenix8008 BedLlama WEContact Grimmjow jbear Dekana
