The Wanderer is a prototype vessel constructed by members states of the G8. It is the first explorer class vessel.
The Wanderer houses 2000 people on board. It is made up of the bridge, living quarters, medbay, engine room + attachments, and 4 main segments. These four 'wings' are the Engineer wing, Lab wing, Civilian wing and Combat wing. The ship is outfitted with a state of the art oxygen recycler. This will continue to circulate oxygen as long as there is power to the ship. The ship also has enough cargo space to accommodate food for up to 1 year for all members on board. The cargo also holds many important equipment for the members of the ship.
The ship also has two side mounted cannons for defensive purposes as well as a hanger bay to sustain up to 10 drop ships and 10 military vessels. Both these types of Vessels are hybridised vehicles made to be able to transport men as well as have a dual function such as weaponry or equipment such as a cutting laser for digging.
The most important capability of this ship though is it's new advanced power core. This core is dubbed the Paksis core. A new energy source excavated from Mars. The core has yet to be fully tested though it is known to produce a large amount of energy useful for devices such as the very powerful engines attached to the Wanderer. There is an important contingent of 30 physicist and engineers that watch over the engine room to maintain the Paksis's stability.
