Thanks to D20 & 4E, I'm still soured on using tactical minis wargaming as the default combat resolution mechanic in a RPG. Maybe it will be quicker than d20/4E, but the precision of a wargame is only needed when there isn't someone acting as a neutral arbiter.

I like the setting a lot too but I'd be more likely to get the book if it used Pathfinder than its own system. I own most of the d20 books and the setting is awesome!

As another note about the new IKRPG, they will not be rereleasing the Witchfire trilogy for the new system. Rejoice/despair, that is up to you and how you feel.

I saw this in the FLGS today and, without having read too much, I saw that this is a physically attractive book. I never cared one way or another about IK, but this is good art.
