THAT WAS SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!
I recorded it. Felt just like I did watching the moon shots and the first Space Shuttle flights.
The most amazing thing to me was that he broke Mach coming in and yet tiptoed to the gorund on landing. 24 miles up, straight in hard fall, yet he just floated in on landing with his faceplate open. Truly beautiful.
Nice work Felix, really, really nice work.
He should sleep well tonight. It's hard not to be proud of the man for being that kind of man.
