(OOC - Flibbertygibbit! So sorry!)

Too many down...Kyria felt a kind of fuzziness descend over her as she moved around to get a clear shot at one of the men on the walls and took a shot at him. This kind of open-field conflict wasn't really her field of expertise. They'd been overconfident and were paying the price. Kressle was down though too...but Liam was hurt.

This was a mistake, she thinks hollowly. We weren't ready for this.

Would she go down with the ship and fight to the last, or try to get away, if the others fell?

Not even Kyria was sure of the answer to that.

(Move to within 30' of the guy on the wall to the south, and open fiiiiiiire!)
To hit: 16, damage 3. Includes Point Blank bonuses, so subtract 1 from atk and dmg if she can't get within 30 feet of target.

Rhote falls from his wound, but grits his teeth and doesn't cry out. He tries to hold back the blood from the injury, so as to give the appearance that it may not be so bad. As he holds onto consciousness he hopes that his brother's actions win the day. "He's still up... we're still winning...not our greatest plan..." He tells himself.

Would she go down with the ship and fight to the last, or try to get away, if the others fell?

Not even Kyria was sure of the answer to that. After the internal debate she strode forward and fired a shaft into the bandit on the platform. While the man doesn't fall he was clearly wounded.

With Pixie in the stream and unable to hold her head out of the water, Liam knows she has only moments before she drowns. If she still lives. He steels his thoughts and rejects that possibility. Reaching down he grasps her arm and drags her forward with him as he moves to shore. He ends up face to face with a bandit nearby. Growling fiercely he shouts, "Surrender now, or join Kressle in death."

With two down on each side and still at a three to two advantage the Bandits aren't ready to give up the fight just yet, but they are shaken. The three remaining bandits continue to fire arrows (1d20=12, 1d20=11, 1d20=12), but none manage to hit.

OOC: Those bandits really did a number on Rhote. Hit 'im so hard he thinks he's a monk, eh, Deuce Traveller??

The arrows fly from all directions as Liam drags Pixie up onto the bank of the stream. Dropping her safely on the shore, he charges up the bank towards the bandit ahead of him who just loosed an arrow. With gore-slick blade still raised, he makes ready to attack. His muddy boots turn on a stone and spoils his attack entirely! He is left off balance and off guard in front of another one of the merciless killers.

Prince Liam attack on Bandit 4. (1d20+4=5, 1d8+3=5)

Kyria grimly stays on her target, trusting that Liam will get the job done in hand to hand. Questions of how to save the others will have to wait until no one who wants to kill them all is still standing.

She fires another arrow, but it's hard to get a good bead on something vital...

(16 to hit, 2 damage. Forgot how much rogues need sneak attack to really do anything in 3x :))

She fires another arrow, but it's hard to get a good bead on something vital...yet even a glancing blow can be enough. The bandit groans, whirls and tumbles off the platform.

Seeing his chance, the bandit springs forward and attacks (1d20=1) Prince Liam, but he too finds the footing treacherous and stumbles missing completely and now off-balance as well.

The remaining archer fires (1d20=9), but his aim is poor.

Suddenly the odds don't seem quite so hopeless.

OOC: Actions? No significant changes in the map other than the loss of B2.

His enemies blade slices through the air alongside Liam's face. He leans sideways to avoid it and finds his balance once again. He plants his feet and narrows his eyes. The Prince strikes back with a powerful upward blow aimed to lay his enemy open from belly to neck.

OOC
[SBLOCK]
Prince Liam second attack on Bandit 4 (1d20+4=23, 1d8+3=8)
Prince Liam critical confirm on bandit 4 (1d20+4=6, 1d8+3=9)

If I kill B4, I'd like to use the rest of my move to dive for cover behind the fallen logs.
