Infinite uses the standard Epic d20 rules, with a few additions and changes to fit the modern d20 rules and Infinite’s own brand of modern-day pulp heroics. To summarize, epic level characters (whose total character level is 21 or above, including class levels and level adjustments due to race or template) have the following characteristics:

Epic Attack Bonus: A character’s base attack bonus does not increase at epic level. Instead, the character receives a cumulative +1 epic bonus on all attacks at every odd-numbered level beyond 20th. Any time a rule refers to your base attack bonus, use the sum of your base attack bonus and epic attack bonus.

Epic Save Bonus: A character’s base save bonus does not increase at epic level. Instead, the character receives a cumulative +1 epic bonus on all saving throws at every even-numbered level beyond 20th. Any time a rule refers to your base save bonus, use the sum of your base save bonus and epic save bonus.

Epic Defense Bonus: An epic level character gains a cumulative +1 Defense bonus at every even-numbered level beyond 20th.

Epic Reputation Bonus: An epic level character gains a cumulative +1 Reputation bonus at every level divisible by four.

Ability Increases: Upon gaining any level divisible by four, a character increases one of his or her ability scores by 1 point.

Hit Points: A character continues to gain Hit Dice as normal beyond 20th level.

Skill Points: A character continues to gain skill points as normal beyond 20th level.

Feats:
Every character gains one feat (which may be an epic or nonepic feat at the player’s choice) at every level divisible by three.

Action Points: The character continues to gain action points as normal beyond 20th level:

Basic Classes: 5 plus one-half character level, rounded down.
Advanced Classes: 6 plus one-half character level, rounded down.
Prestige Classes: 7 plus one-half character level, rounded down.

When an epic level character spends an action point to improve a d20 roll, roll 4d6 action point dice.

Wealth Bonus:
The character continues to make a Profession check at every level to determine if his or her Wealth bonus increases.
