I'm planning a 13th Age campaign set in Golarion and rather than using the Icons as written in 13th Age, I'd like to give my players the chance to select Icons that are 'native' to Golarion. i'm not really looking for a 1:1 conversion, though.
So my question is, as a newbie to Golarion, who/what are some of the most powerful and influential figures and organizations in Golarion? I'm not well read enough on the setting to know this myself but I'd like to get it right the first time so I'm not changing anything once I get caught up.
I'm ideally shooting for a dozen or more people/organizations. They can be anything or anyone, really, as long as they're super-influential or have a lot of power they can project.
