Good Medium size creature for Polymorph?

For polymorph, I liked the Baku and the Jackalwere. Both have hands, so you can continue to cast spells. Jackalwere is better for combat, but the Baku is good for mobility, since it flies.

Winged humanoid? Avarial Elf (From Faerun, I think).

Speed 30, fly 50 (Average)

*40ft, 40 Climb
*+8 Nat Armour
*16 Str, 15 Dex, 19 Con
*Attk: bite (+3+BAB, d8+3+d6acid)
*Full Attk: bite (+3+BAB, d8+3+d6acid and 2 claws (-2+BAB, d6+1)
*Racial +4 Hide/Move Silently checks
*Sleep and Paralysis Immunity

You can do with with Alter Self rather than use polymorph
