Tikker, the watch that counts down the time you have remaining to live (based on some medical questions).

The idea is to remind people of the time they have left alive, so they will try to do more with their lives (thank you for insulting this slacker). Thing is, there is a reason why we try not think about death, because it reminds us of the pointlessness of it all.

Can you imagine waking up in the morning, checking your watch to see what time it is, and being told when you'll die? No one would ever get out of bed again.
Personally, I'd like a watch that counts down to my retirement: perhaps using the current value of my pension accrual to calculate how much many months I still have to save.

Connected to stock markets? It would be amusing to see how fluctuations and Congress taking the economy hostage would affect the day of your retirement (if you do not have a set pension when you retire).
