Last week an infographic popped up on the internet seemingly showing how to enable games for the 360 by inputting a variety of instructions. The end result for users was however a bricked Xbox, and it appears as though the wretched hive of scum and villainy that is 4chan's /b/ board has struck again.

Any moron who tried it deserved to brick their system. Why do that? If you've got 360 games you probably still have your 360. Buy another bleepin' HDMI cable and plug both bleepin systems into your tv. Derp.

Or you could just buy another 360. They're cheap as hell now.

Sounds more like abusive hardware design. 'Oh, you tried doing something you did not have permissions for? Sure we could just cause a restart, but we feel like breaking the product we sold you. Have a nice day and thanks for your money, suckers.'

Thankfully this defect has occurred while most folks will still have their receipts, if the thermal paper has not already self destructed.
