I hope this matches up to the first one (of the remake). That was an excellent show, and Spacey was superb in it.

Still not going to be anywhere near as good as the original british series.
No class. No charm. Just more swimming in humanity's collective sewer.

I will admit to being wrong.
Watched season 2 only out of curiosity, and it was a major improvement. They ditched most of the slimy and raunchy sex, and stuck to the machinations of telling the story. First 2 episodes ditched the annoying side-threads and turned the show from a broad soap-opera to a tight story with no wasted episodes. (Where as at least 2 episodes from season 1 were a total waste of time.)

Season 2 was a let down. Not as good as the first season. Still, I enjoyed it, but they better rap it with season 3.
