Not that long ago there was a model who ended up with a blender moment all her own. She lived but, uhh, she don't model no mo'.

She was a whole body/face model. She, uhh, lost some of her body ... including parts of her face.

She ended up in better shape than you'd think possible for someone who walked face first into a running propeller but she was pretty badly damaged.
EDIT: I just looked at some 'after' pics of her and ... wow. It's difficult to tell aside from the prosthetic arm. Her face is pretty good - she's got a pretty obvious false eye but still, not bad. The wonders of modern medicine, I guess.

I can't find the thread started by GlassEye, but he kept tabs on me while I was 'sleeping'.
Waking from that was scary, especially when I found out what went wrong and how much time I was out.
