From Forbes.com:

"Microsoft announced on Monday that it’s developing original television shows for the Xbox, and the list of programs is about what you’d expect for that audience: reality competitions, sketch comedy, and an adaptation of the multi-billion dollar Halo video game franchise.

But one program stands out because of its unusual origins: “Deadlands,” a genre-bending Western filled with undead cowboys, card-slinging sorcerers and horrific monsters, is based on a pen-and-paper role-playing game."

Hey, I run this game twice a month! Woot!

This sounds promising, its for Microsofts Xbox network right? How is the tv rating system even going to be able to take this console based productions into account? The tv rating system is already on its knees and it just cant cope with how we watch tv nowadays.

There is more than enough in the Deadlands books to keep a show like this going.

Id also like Bruce Campbell to be in this (as he has previous experience with western weirdness in the Adventures of Brisco County Jr )

It doesn't have to. This is produced by MS, for their own network. It won't be broadcast, but instead streamed to individuals, so MS will know exactly how many viewers they get, and can report that if such numbers are important for advertising sales.
