As Denir files in with the rest of them, he accepts the food, but makes no effort to eat it. It did make him recall however, that eerie day when power coursed through him after they had found the artifact. He of course had felt the touch of the divine before, but usually only on the battlefield. In any case, ever since then he found he had less and less of an appetite. Of late he didn't find himself hungry. He had had an ale, when? Not too long ago. But he couldn't recall eating or drinking since then. Looking down at the rancid stew, he was quite glad he no longer needed to eat.

Sheldon accepts the bedroll, but respectfully declines the stew,as just looking at it causes his hunger to turn. He knows he is in the belly of the enemies domain so he does his best to act casual and not let his holy symbol be seen. once settled down he 'rests his eyes' to concentrate and see if there are evil persons here.
