Funny.
Big thing in the local papers is how Lucas moved his plans for a Star Wars museum from the Presidio in San Francisco to Chicago. Presidio Oversight Committee was jerking Lucas around in spite of a promise of "environmental responsibility" and a rather large check. POC would rather have a discount sporting goods store...
This after fighting for over a decade with Marin County to build a film studio on his own land.
SF and Marin are just full of elitist jerks.
Chicago said "Please, whatever you want, we want this here." Chicago gets the museum with all the stuff from Lucas' personal collection.
SF would rather have the Super Bowl for a weekend or the Olympics for a month than a permanent museum.
This after the debacle that cost the city their football team, and the fact that they spent 3 times as much to get the World's Cup race as they gained in revenue.
Oh well.
