I should be ashamed of myself. I just watched the opening scene of Season 1 episode 7 'Ouroboros'

I saw a leg with blood pooled. there should be cast off as the leg had to have been flung.

The stump from which it came I am sure should have been bloody and not clear of blood as that person lay dying.

I saw a sword sticking in the sand, it was the wrong kind of hilt for a babalonian battle scene.

At this time I face palmed myself. Any one else catch them selves doing this?

At a guess you're looking at an attack with a super-heated blade that cauterised both sides of the wound as it struck. The leg, having been flung clear, was further damaged upon landing, opening the wound and allowing the blood to flow out. The blade with the wrong hilt is a deliberate red herring, planted by the killer to divert attention.

Most likely your suspect is a Jedi.

I would have expected to see burns on the cuts if from a light saber, though.
