Indiana Jones RPG?

I wonder whether or not a company will pick up the Indiana Jones licence and produce a Role-Playing Game - seeing as though Indiana Jones IV is to be released in 2005? Anyone know something about this, or who would likely obtain the licence? I think it could be alot of fun!

Personally I don't think there is enough to that to make into a game. Perhaps some d20 modern adventures based on it . . .

You could always try Pulp Heroes mini game that was in Dungeon/Polyhedron 90.

Hasn't there already been an indiana jones game, pre-d20? I could have sworn I remember adds for it.

Try and get a copy of Adventure! by white wolf (no WOD!).
It's a fantastic game for pulp adventures, and you can seriously watch movies like Indiana Jones, the Mummy, Phantom or Shadow - and replay it as a game.

The game even has rules for mad scientists!

It also has a great cliffhanger system and is all in all a wonderful game to play - very fun!

Unfortunately, the whole line has just been officially canceled by WW. There was also Aberrant (overpowered superhero game set in 1990s), and Trinity (also a very good sci-fi psionics game set in 2120).

I think there's only the basic rules out for Adventure!, so you won't spend a lot of money for naught if you don't happen to like it.

I urge you, give it a try!

Ya there is, they made a few good books for it as well.

IIRC, it was put out by WEG (WEst End Games) for their Master Book system.

IIRC, TSR put out an rpg years ago for it also.

I can't really let this topic pass without mentioning Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is perfect for the sort of escapades that the characters get up too in the Indiana Jones films... I also created the Two-Fisted Archaeologist archetype in the Ascended sourcebook, Seal of the Wheel and I think that we can all guess on who that was based upon.
