Thundering and increased multiplier

I have a rules question for you fine fellows:

The thundering special ability adds extra attack dice on a critical hit. D10 if the weapon does x2, 2D10 if the weapon does x3, 3D10 if the weapon does x4, etc.

Now, the increase multiplier ability of the weapon master allows the character to add one to the multiplier of his weapon of choice. If he uses this ability with a weapon that has thundering(or flame burst, etc.) should this increase the number of extra attack dice as well?

I have my own opinion, but I'd like to here what the board thinks. Thanks,

The class ability increases the weapon 's crit multiplier.

The weapon enchantment is based on the weapons's crit multiplier.

So why wouldn't the damage increase?

That's how I looked at it. When I was discussing this with another player, he felt the bonus die should be based entirely on what the weapon's critical multiplier was, not the multiplier the character gets to use with that weapon.

Thanks for the answers, everyone.
