A Smalljammer and it's crew has an unexpected encounter with pirates, time to run like hell!

Background is by Melkor, I bought it and other space background pics from his store for use in art.
Hey, it saves me tons of time so I can knock out scenes faster by concentrating on the main elements in foreground and I've still a lot to learn about doing really good space backgrounds

Nice.
I always liked the Smalljammer. unfortunately, not a lot of DMs are willing to let you play one... jerks.

Have you thought of maybe doing the Spelljammer? Maybe a battle scene between the Spelljammer and a few other ships?

Aye, folk need to chill and enjoy the glory that is SPELLJAMMER! Hell after Pirates of the Caribbean people should be WAY more accepting, and also the way Spelljammming is used in the very good CORSAIR D&D books

I've been desperate to push Spelljammer and Dark Sun for years, so I like to think all my art/posting helped make Athas return a wee tiny bit lol, and Spelljammer to get a mention in 4th ed

well, it takes 2 weeks to over a month to make each ship....
Rather make the ordinary ones that are used in lot of scenarios/art ideas etc and THE Spelljammer would be a *lot* of work!!
