3 out of 5 rating for Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Bestiary 4

The fourth Bestiary from Paizo, this is the fifth adversary book if you include the NPC Codex. Sixth if you include the Inner Sea Bestiary. This book was hyped and advertised as the "mythic bestiary", the counterpart to that year's Mythic Adventures. While there's a fair number of high level threats, there's very few Mythic creatures. This is really the "best of the APS" bestiary as it collects monsters from the back matter of several Adventure Paths. If you're a collector of the APs, you likely have a quarter of the content from this book. It's a fine product and has some good monsters but it's not amazing. If you're looking for new and non-standard creatures, monsters your party may not have faced in the 40 years of d20 gaming, than this product will serve you well. But otherwise it's a lot of filler, ho-hum monsters, and obscure mythological creatures.

Good selection of monsters, great art work and Cthulhu. Need I say more? Well I guess, you also get a bunch of new templates, DevilBound, Divine Guardian, Fungal and Isitoq to many a few.
