Another wonderfully illustrated and well organized book by Monte Cook Games. Cypher System is one of my personal favorites for ease of use and yet it has some complexity to it. If you like Numenera and the Strange you will love Cypher System.

This is just another Monte Cook idea, providing a quick and versatile rulebook (with lot of similarities with Numenera and The Strange, so if you already own one of them probably this rulebook isn't so necessary to you). This is great for involving quickly new players and for starting a game in a blink.
Please note thatthis is just a ruleset that can be adapted to plenty of settings, but it does NOT contain a setting: that is up to you to prepare and you can enjoy running games in different settings while using basically the same ruleset.
Let's say it clearly between us: this ruleset has the similar kind of aces up its sleeve that Savage Worlds has. What changes a lot is the price level, that in this case is clearly higher. Still cheaper than Numenera (but Numenera includes an awesome setting and tons of art), but more expensive than Savage Worlds.
