Another kobold falls from Renestra's arrow. The remaining kobolds slow up slightly after seeing two of their number downed so easily, perhaps not expecting such serious resistance. They rally slightly and recover their enthusiasm, preparing for another charge when suddenly all four drop to the floor in a deep sleep.
The woman turns around with a look of surprise on her face, before running to the side of the man and children, who have taken a moment to catch their breath. They embrace in a group hug.
"Thank you, whoever you are..." she says to you all, "But don't let your guard down just yet, there were at least two more of them..."
There's a shriek from behind you, and turning round you see the gnomes, Jenna and James, trying desperately to fend off an aerial attack on their wagon from two flying kobolds armed with daggers.
"...with wings." says the woman.
