PLEASE CONTRIBUTE LINKS ON ANY CAMPAIGN OR GAME THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SEEING HERE!! (I will update this occassionally, and try to remove non-functioning links and add new links.)

Hello,

As I promised in Edena of Neith's To My Friends in the IR thread, I promised to create a list of resources for WoTC's current and past settings. So here is what I have found. Let me know what you think, and please add any resources that you think would make the games in Gaming Action more enjoyable. Of course, do check out anything new on the Forgotten Realms and World of Greyhawk Settings over at Wizards of the Coast: http://www.wizards.com

Your help on links is GREATLY appreciated.

I have added a few more links, mostly focusing on names. Some are real world names, and might be helpful for anyone with a kid on the way.:)

Additionally, I added a linguistics section. (The resources from Yourdictionary.com are quite good. The grammar section has links for Tolkien's languages, as well as languages from the Star Wars and Star Trek universes.)

Here is a map of Zakhara, it's even hosted by ENWorld.

Map of Zakhara

IThe link of the map you have isn't working with me.

Another link to a good site for Zakhara:

Al-Qadim

Also, you'd be surprised whay you find by just searchin on google, as long as your search is specific enough so you don't get non-dndn related material.

And some info on Kara Tur

Crosswinds - Kara Tur
The site has some annoying pop ups but is worth it.

Otherwise, this site might be usefll as well
Orient

Also there is a boxed set of Kara tur from the 2nd edtition. All oriental adventures in 2nd edeition take place in Kara-Tur.
.pdf files of kara-tur can be bought here

For further information you can use Google or another search magine. I found a lot of sites with another language them english, so take your chance.

Hello,

Sorry that I have not added to this thread in a while, but I have been busy. So, here are a few more things that I will shortly add to the first post. Remember, this is a community resource, so feel free to add links to maps and other resources. Also, I am curious how this thread has helped people with their games -- here and elsewhere.

From Andion Isurand's website (These may take a while to load. You may also need to copy the URL into your browser's address field.)

We NEED You

Hello,
We are based in Blue Island, with players from Bridgeview and Oak Lawn, and further. Our group is currently 6, with two possible departures. We are looking for another TEAM player, along with a possible future DM. We have several campaigns going on including Return to Temple of Elemental Evil, and Maztica. We are also training a new DM. Our groups average age is 35. We meet every other Saturday, so thats twice a month, with occasionally switching to do two in a row to meet players schedules. We really want a reliable player, and like what we have read on your post. Let us know...We will give you until August to reply, then look elsewhere. Please contact via Email @ thorun09@msn.com or harchunk@yahoo.com.

Always Forward,
