Echo takes a quick skim into the drone's sensor records, but realizes that the data is stored in the security network. She traces the pathways to where the information is stored, but it is a jumbled mess that will require her to make a Computer Skill check to sort through and find the data she wants.

"We were sent to copy some big bunch of electronic research notes, plus wipe the mainfraime of its data so that others don't get hold of the research." Thistle turned to Echo. "Can you get us what we need from here, or do we need to go elsewhere in the building to get to the mainframe physically?"[/section]

Echo didn't so much as look at Thistle; she was far more aware of the other world...the realer world...than she was of vibrations of sound. Even so, she had the presence of mind to say, "Checking that."
In the tiny 'matrix' of the network, she was a storm of motes, sifting through terabytes of data, sniffing out the specific pieces she wants...

Echo is able to find some stored video of what the drones had seen since being reprogrammed, though it's a lot of film to go through and will take her a few minutes of fast forwarding and rewinding before she can note anything important. While she is at it, she is also able to find that she would be able to access the data from her present location, though that section of this isolated Matrix is heavily defended by some pretty tough ICE if she decided to give it a go from here.
In fact, all her actions have finally gotten her noticed. Inside the Matrix, a Patrol IC appears in front of her and scans Echo's mark. At the same time, you hear an alarm begin to go off inside the building. It seems the Patrol IC security is connected somehow to the building security.

As the party scrambles in response to the alarm, two more drones flow into the room.

Prometheus hears the whine of the drone coming behind him. He hurriedly takes cover behind a nearby wall and drops the detection spell he's been holding. It hasn't really been helping him much anyway. Then he begins casting an electrical spell hoping to fry the drone's circuits.
