Reading comprehension issue. I normally don't gaffe like that. Ah well. UP is making a tribute to him, because he can, not because Dave is gone. Thank goodness it was merely the sand still in my eyes this morning...

First of all, don't take it as gospel unless Dave's own web site (the web site devoted to him, that is, at www.castleblackmoor.com ) confirms it. Both Dave and Gary have died at least a half-dozen times in the past few years due to hoaxes.

I have long said resurrections are just too common in rpg's.

Um, I've just checked that site and couldn't find anything in the story about him dying...could you provide a more specific link and/or quote?

Nothing in that entire article even remotely suggests that Dave Arneson is dead! Read it carefully before jumping to erroneous conclusions, please.
