If you want a powerful archer, have him play a fighter who is working toward a Legendary Class specifially created by the DM to be a Legolas Clone. Don't Forget to take a level as rogue so you get the sneak attack!

Thanks guys those are all amazing suggestions, How about the Boots of Speed, could they be of any help to me? Bracers of Archery are also a must have.

Since I do not have the DMG could someone give me the specs of Chain and Mithril shirts, and explain what the Quiver of Elhona does?

Oh, Im not sure if I want to take levels of OoBI but I was considering taking 1 level of Rogue to get the sneak attack.

BTW- Where can I find the Monte Cook version Ranger?

Also, a Magekiller is actually a spellcaster, just one focused on techniques to take down rival mages. Not sure about balance; it is from the same book that gave us the Incantrix.

Thanks for the sites, they helped out alot.

Also, if I were to persuade my DM to have a flying mount, which should I choose? A Pegasus, Griffon, and Hippogriff is all I know of are there more? If so which are good?
