Aelspeth blushes as Qalabash retrieves his wand. She should have recalled her studies--she was too learned for such a hedge wizard's mistake! She casts Mage Armor.

Francis John's shot misses one of the sahuagin by a couple of feet, due to the rocking of the skiff. Qalabash takes the wand from Aeslpeth and casts shield upon himself. Aelspeth casts mage armor.

The first sahuagin returns fire at Francis John, while the second takes a shot at Leira.

The skiff drivers are almost alongside the Sea Sprite, but it will take them one more round before you are close enough to try and climb up the wooden ladders and rope ladders on the side of the hull.

Stunning Fist: You must declare that you are using this feat before you make your attack roll (thus, a failed attack roll ruins the attempt). Stunning Fist forces a foe damaged by your unarmed attack to make a Fortitude saving throw (DC 10 + 1/2 your character level + your Wis modifier), in addition to dealing damage normally. A defender who fails this saving throw is stunned for 1 round (until just before your next turn). A stunned character drops everything held, can’t take actions, loses any Dexterity bonus to AC, and takes a –2 penalty to AC. You may attempt a stunning attack once per day for every four levels you have attained (but see Special), and no more than once per round. Constructs, oozes, plants, undead, incorporeal creatures, and creatures immune to critical hits cannot be stunned.

Dragon Style: While using this style, you gain a +2 bonus on saving throws against sleep effects, paralysis effects, and stunning effects. You ignore difficult terrain when you charge, run, or withdraw. You can also charge through squares that contain allies. Further, you can add 1-1/2 times your Strength bonus on the damage roll for your first unarmed strike on a given round.

Dragon Ferocity: While using Dragon Style, you gain a bonus on unarmed strike damage rolls equal to half your Strength bonus. When you score a critical hit or a successful Stunning Fist attempt against an opponent while using this style, that opponent is also shaken for a number of rounds equal to 1d4 + your Strength bonus.

Nodding slightly when she witnesses Qalabash's foresight, Aelspeth ducks low in the skiff and swings her quarterstaff somewhat awkwardly over her shoulder to prod at Darwin in his sash. "You always drink at the worst times. Make yourself useful and hold this." She prods once more, insistently, and a tiny nigh-humanoid hand emerges to grasp the staff. The weapon wobbles precariously for a second, nearly striking Leira, then recedes partway out of sight.

"Shall we brace ourselves for impact?"

Under the guidance of the gods themselves, Tamarie takes aim at the strange fish-creatures and squeezes the trigger of her crossbow, letting the bolt fly right at her enemy. "Oh!" she quietly exclaims as it looks as if the bolt is likely to strike true.

The ship strikes the side of the Sea Sprite, allowing you access to the wooden ladder and hanging rope ladder, but only one person can climb each at a time.

OOC:
DC 5 Climb check to for anyone rushing up the wooden ladder in one quick combat round. DC 8 Climb check for doing the same on the rope ladder. Only one per ladder, per round. Those that attempt to climb cannot attack this round.
