Is there a comic book superhero who has never been dead?

Is there a major Marvel or DC superhero who hasn't ever been dead at some point?

By "major," I mean one whose name most comic book fans would at least have heard of.

And by "dead," I mean was accepted by the readers as having died, even if the writers brought them back and retconned the story.

I don't think Batman has died, Batman RIP made it look like he died but he actually got sent through time.

I don't think the Hulk has died either

Tony Stark *faked* his death once, but I don't recall if the readers knew it was a fake or not.

I don't think Martian Manhunter has died in any mainstream story, so that makes most of the original JLA "Not Dead Yet."

maybe work the problem from both angles?

As wells as define dead? "He's dead jim!", "We commit his body to the stars", "nobody could survive that!"

Only 2 of those would qualify as the character dying. No body, not dead.

Jean Grey died and came back
Magneto died if I recall and came back
Captain America died, don't know if he came back.
Thunderbird is know as having the mutant power to stay dead.
The mid 80's X-Men all died in Dallas, but not really via the Siege Perilous
Bucky died and took a long time in comics to come back as the Winter Soldier
Wolverine keeps regenerating, so that doesn't count....

Jubilee didn't die, she just lost her powers.
