The mage arrives first, a blonde elf dressed in practical clothing and carrying a small leather bound book. The man is all business, approaching directly and glancing at the group. Unable to decide which of you is the spokesman, he addresses the three of you in general."Ah, yes. It was my understanding that there are to be four of you, and two horses. Has there been a change in your plans? Where is the fourth, and the second beast?"

Sol nibbled at the fingernail of her little finger, and then inspected the others for any signs of stray dirt that might have gotten underneath. She had no clue where the ranger and his pet were and so didn't bother to answer.
