Anyone here ever try to modify the vampire template to fit the vampires from BtVS, trying to make them "playable" as PCs? You know, if you ever wanted to play a character like Spike or Angel?
Off the top of my head, somethings a "playable" BtVS template would get (probably overpowered):
+4 strength
+2 dex
No con for being undead (not sure how this would work)
"no resurrection-raise dead after killed"
+2 natural AC bonus
damage resistance 10/+1
darvision 30'
regeneration (the lowest one)
drink blood to survive - for each 1 hp drained from a victim, 1 hit point transferred over
vampire "rage" (when there face gets all "bumpy" and their fangs come out)
+1 to hit +3 to damage 1/day per character level. lasts for 4 rounds plus Charisma bonus if any
susceptable to wooden stakes - if an enemy crits with a wooden stake and the second roll is confirmed, the vampire dies automatically
direct sunlight - causes 1d8 points of fire damage per round
takes damage from holy water and can be turned
can not enter private residences without being invited. a wall force type effect (affecting only the vampire) is in place over entrance until vampire is invited in.
