With the invention of resurrection, raise dead, and other means to stave off kicking the bucket, death just does not mean what it used to anymore. Because of the lack of business, the Grim Reaper Soul Delivery Corporation has been forced to lay off many of its employees to cut back costs. Thus, many formally working grim reapers are out of work and seeking new means of paying the bills (hey scythes and robes have a pretty mean maintenance cost you know!). Many were able to find meaningful employment at children’s Halloween’s parties and other wholesome activities, but some of the dimmer and more thuggish individuals have little skills other than forcing the dead to go on to their just rewards in the afterlife.
This is where a particularly shrewd entrepreneur devil named Luke I.O.U. Beetlebub stepped in. Beetlebub figured that there is an untapped market out there in the fantasy world- that of collecting debts through any means necessary, even literally taking an arm and a leg if he had to. Sure, powerful individuals sometimes hire adventurers to make people pay up, but let’s face it, few people are flakier and just unwholesomely untrustworthy as adventurers. Beetlebub figured he could hire the thugs of the laid-off grim reapers and employ them at low cost- which means what every entrepreneur devil wants- bigger profits. Who better to take what is owed than those the ultimate tax-collectors- the gathers of souls. The grim reapers thugs happily took the jobs Beetlebub offered, getting to beat up and intimidate people and take their stuff and actually getting paid for it.
Thus, the Reapo Men Search and Retrieval Company was born. Reapo men, as they are now called, appear as normal grim reapers but are taller and much more physically intimidating than your average grim reaper. Reapo men, being extremely hide-bound and traditional creatures, always wear the traditional black robe and scythe get-up of grim reapers. The eyes of a reapo man glow a dull scarlet red color, and their skulls are often cracked and are missing teeth from the frequent brawls they engage in. When a reapo man is not ruthlessly searching down the poor, unfortunate fools who have not paid their debts, he is usually boozing and brawling, even though as an undead, he cannot be affected by alcohol.

Combat
A reapo man welcomes combat anywhere, anytime, striking out with his scythe or claws into melee, or using his spell-like abilities to bring down air-borne creature or opponents out of reach. A reapo man always attacks first the person(s) who a client targeted to extract payment from.

Spell-like abilities (Sp): At will- Dispel magic, domination, hold monster, telekinesis, teleport without error. These act as the spells cast by a 15th level sorcerer (save DC 12+spell level).
Death to Debtor (Su): Against its targeted debtor, a reapo man gets a +2 compentance bonus to attack and damage rolls with its scythe. In addition, the debtor must make a Will Save (DC 16) each time he or she is struck with the scythe or die.
Detect Debtor (Su): As long as the contracted target is on the same plane of existence as the reapo man, the reapo man can always tell the general location of its target, giving it a +10 racial bonus on all checks to track him or her down.
Undead: Immune to mind-influencing effects, poisons, sleep, paralysis, stunning, and disease. Not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, energy drain, or death from massive damage.
