See I think you are doing it wrong.
I'm running 2 games where we use the Starwars RPG system, the narrative dice system from Fantasy Flight's Age of Rebellion, Edge of Empire, Force and Destiny to run a Dark Heresy 2nd edition game..
Works really well.

There was an article in White Dwarf #11 that gives (Classic) Traveller stats for SW Blasters.

Oh, and there was a fan conversion of Edge to do Firefly. All it involved was new ships and weapons. I've not seen it recently; it was during the Edge Beta.
