Reminds me a lot of old John Blanche illios. Good stuff.

He was the art director for GW for a long time. Did a lot of the scarier Chaos illustrations in the old hb books.

Winged Guard

I like Winged helmets.

I also tried to do something with a background other than just a plan white, color or gradiant, but I admit I do have to do somthing more with my backgrounds. But this was just more experimentation with coloring than anything else. I think I need to spend more time on the actual drawing...cause I see flaws with the anatomy and posing.

And I don't like the shield, so much, anymore.
