My current superhero TV show ranking

*Jessica Jones - For me, this sets the bar.
*Daredevil - Very much enjoyed this and looking forward to the return.
*Agent Carter- Campy and funny. I was a fan of Marvel's WWII comics and this has the feel.
*Agents of SHIELD - Good and solid, with a nice dash of incidental comedy. Admittedly I was, in its early days, an ardent reader of "Nick Fury: Agent of Shield."
*Lucifer - Good for a laugh. Because of Lauren German I would at least watch it like Al Bundy watched rap videos; with the sound muted.
*The Flash - Would be higher, if it didn't have frequent tie-ins to "Arrow" (see below)
*Supergirl - OK. Usually on as background noise.

*Arrow - Dropped. Got tired of the CW melodrama. Either it has become far too insincerely ardent, or I've lost my tolerance for it.
*Gotham - Dropped after season 1 because I got tired of characters who were *almost* what they would become.
*Legends of Tomorrow - Not good enough to support the weird on the half hour start time. I'll read a book.

I don't watch too many of these. Jessica Jones was awesome, and I still regularly watch Flash and Arrow. Flash has a good cast and decent stories, Arrow is okay but I watch it mostly for the strong villains.

*Legends of Tomorrow - Not good enough to support the weird on the half hour start time. I'll read a book.

People still care about start times? I watch more shows on my PC and tablet these days than on TV, and I don't watch anything live.

Hand of Evil

Hero
Epic
Jessica Jones
Limitless - place it on the list as the character does have superpowers from an drug
Daredevil
Gotham
Agent Carter
Agents of Shield
Lucifer

Until I stepped away from the misery porn, I was watching The Walking Dead at time of broadcast, as there were folks we knew who wanted to watch along and chat online while watching.

Clearly at least ONE person does ;)

Cut me some slack. I'm in my 50s. Barbie says, "Change is haaaaaaard." Part of my measure of whether or not a show is worth following, is if I'm willing to put the time aside to actually watch it. If not I dump it, then use the time for more profitable pursuits.

I find that TWD has dropped off my RADAR. "Misery porn" is a good way to put it.

For me it got really boring. Same every week. I stuck with it, though, for some reason, and this year is actually more interesting. I think there have been a couple of interesting years, and the rest have been pretty much the same thing over and over.

My problem is that there does not seem to be any overall plot. I haven't read the comics, but I'm aware that they are still ongoing and the no resolution of any kind is in sight, which makes it all feel a bit aimless and wandering. If it was just a random "monster of the week" episodic show like Star Trek or X Files or Doctor Who or something, that would be fine, but it's not. It has an ongoing narrative which has no direction other than "hey who's gonna die next?" which got old 3 years ago.
