"Uh-oh!"

I'm assuming that Bree's Mage Armor from her invocation is up & running?
Since the duration is 8hrs, my typical SoP is to cast it 1st thing after breakfast each day & then again if it ever drops (is dispelled or such).

If Mage Armor is NOT up: Stay out of sight this round & cast that.

If Mage Armor IS up: Bree will peek over the window sill & cast an 11d8 Sleep spell targeting the lizardmen on the ground trying to catch as many of them as possible.
Sleep Spell results: 58hp worth [sblock=] _: 11D8 = [4, 2, 7, 8, 4, 2, 7, 7, 7, 8, 2] = 58
[/sblock]

She then orders Scales to fly up the chimney/out another window & keep an eye on things from the air. He's to stay out of effective blowgun range.
In case it matters, Scales perception check is: 15 [sblock=]perception check with advantage on sight/smell: 1D20+4 = [11]+4 = 15
1D20+4 = [6]+4 = 10

Your mage armor is up, and you glance outside and mutter a few words. The sleep spell hits two of the lizard men standing in the square. They sway briefly before dropping to the ground in a deep contented sleep.

The lizard man in the square charges toward Bree bringing his sword down in a dizzying arc.

Roll: 1d20+7, 15 to hit

The blow is deflected by the magic of your mage armor.

The other two fire their blowguns through the window at Kel.
Rolls: 14, 21
One dart strikes Kel for (1d4+4) 6 damage, but Kel succeeds his save vs poison (Constitution save roll of 17).

Kaiden is next and Bethany after that.

Kaiden curses as the lizardfolk attack. He is to stunned to act as his companions attack. Kel and Bree drop three quarters of the attackers in the square before Kaiden can move. Kaiden looks to the two on the roof. The others can take care of the one on Bree. Someone had to deal with those two.

Kaiden takes two steps and changes. he grows larger arms extending out into feathered wings. His eye sight sharpens. He takes flight a giant eagle taking his place. He flies right towards one of the lizardman on the roof. Striking with his beak and talons.

[sclock]Bonus action to wild shape.
Moving to lizardman on roof.
Multiattack on the lizardman.

Beak does 1d6+3 and Talon does 2d6+3 damage. [/sblock]

As you fly toward the lizard man he ducks out of the way of you beak, but is too slow to avoid your talon. You catch him across the back for 13 damage. He is wounded but not dead.

Bree, to Scales, telepathically: "Scales...., talk to me. What do you see? How many of these things are out there? And where are they?"

Scales replies, "There is the one in front of you, two asleep in the square, one on aroof top being attacked by Kaiden, and one on a rooftop across from that."

Bethany is up next.

<Out-of character: Well, I'm tied of waiting. It's been a week, let's get on with this.>

Bree tries to dodge the lizard man & is very grateful to Scales for teaching her that Mage Armor invocation.

As Bree turns to bolt away from the creature (planned upcoming withdraw action on her turn) she spies Bethany slumped against the couch, a blow gun dart protruding from her neck!
It seems one of those darts that missed Kel found a mark after all. :(

"Oh poop! Kell! They got Bethany!"

Bree knows that the real danger of darts like these lies not in their individual damage (at least not to anything bigger than maybe a chipmunk), but in the various poisons they're often coated with. Some of that stuff will kill you outright, some will mess you up, and still others will just knock you unconscious.
And since Bethany is breathing naturally & isn't frothing/convulsing/turning odd colors/or spurting blood from the wound, she's betting that these darts are coated with some kind of the latter.
Bree's got some anti-toxin somewhere in her bag, but 1st she's got to get away from this lizard man.....

Kel ducks out from behind cover, hearing Bethany collapse to the floor he momentarily moves to help, but these are lizard folk and he hated them. With a whispered prayer he transfers his mystical mark to another lizard man and launches two arrows.
