Hm. I found a pretty well written version of a kitsune hengeyokai online...not sure how well it maps to the ones in the book...but here it is for perusal. It'd give us a starting point if nothing else:

Fox (Kitsune-jin)
Fox hengeyokai are cunning, wily, and insightful, but also secretive and somewhat duplicitous. They can rarely be trusted to keep their word, but are generally good folk.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Hybrid Form. A fox hengeyokai’s hybrid form gives the hengeyokai good senses and furtive ability. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks and Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
Animal Form. Your animal form is that of a fox (see below).

Fox
Small beast, unaligned
Armor Class 14 (natural armor)
Hit Points 8 (2d6+2)
Speed 40 ft.
Str 13, Dex 15, Con 12, Int 2, Wis 12, Cha 5
Skills Perception +3, Stealth +4
Senses passive Perception 13
Languages –
Challenge 1/4 (50 XP)
Keen Hearing and Smell. The fox has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Furtive. The fox has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks.

Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage.

Thanks. And how does the shapechanging work? Limited number of times per rest? This webdoc has its own version, but I figured we'd just use the same system that the other yokai in the pdf do...
