Seemingly more interested in getting passengers to safety and barrels lashed to the mast, the priest on board finally prepares himself for combat, raising strange club that looks like it spent some time under the sea and then washed out with sea life (dried out) hanging from or embedded into it.

The Sailors move forward and create a strong front line with the brave few passengers remained topside. Neither side seems to be gaining any ground as the ringing of steel can be heard alongside the creaking of wood as the Pirate's ship is slowly losing its structural integrity.

Thren's mind calmed, the rush of words that his mouth could not keep up with were stilled. Why was it that only in the face of danger his mind was this calm?

He mentally shrugs and kicks out at the pirate in front of him and elbows him to the side of the head after spinning in place.

"This is pointless if their ship sinks we all do regardless of how many pirates we kill, we need to free the Sea Breeze now!" Ramas words tail off into arcane mumblings, he closes his eyes as he begins to make gestures with his hands finally opening them as he claps his hands together infront of him a small mote of red flame appears in his hand as he hurls it towards an a injured looking pirate. He then backs away from the fray to find Kunka and discuss unjamming the ship.

Luthor finds himself at the front line, crouched behind his shield.

He looks at three pirates next to him and whispers quick prayer to High Captain. His dry, weak seeming club suddenly appears much sturdier, the wood creaking, dry moluscs opening and sea life clinging to it coming to life. He strikes with his newly enhanced weapon, but, due to awkward angle he barely grazes the thug.

"Valkur has an eye on all of you now, pirates. I dare you to strike at me."

Young priest presents his shield with Valkurs symbol emblazoned across the whole surface of the shield.

" We cannot separate the ship without dealing with this first!" Tarukka cried over the din of battle. The ring of steel and the cries of pain coupled with the salt spray of the sea as the ships tossed together in a deadly waltz.

The axe in his hand sang out, hooved feet clopping against the wooden deck to steady himself while the elven-crafted blade cut swiftly through the air, it's leaf-shaped steel head seeking to finish off the pirate that had been struck by the water-worshipper at his side.
