I did not see that coming.

When the Blood Ravens dropped down from orbiting Imperatus, I was just dumbfounded. Who would have thought that cross-over was gonna happen. Looking forward to all the purging that's gonna happen this season. Some hints were dropped supporting the long standing theory that gene-stealers were behind the infection. Exciting stuff.

okay I understood that and yeah I called it on one of the kills,but not the other and considering that while the show does walk away from the comics from time to time,I couldn't see them walking away from that kill

Saw it last night. It was brutal.

I think some folks like Umbran, who's expressed this concern in the past, are going to have a problem with this new world order. What is the point of watching the show, when it demonstrates that only the strong and vile can survive, and that nothing you build will endure.

I raise the same issue as I did at the end of season 6.

How does Negan have a huge, well coordinated force with such tactics. if he recruited half his team this way, then surely somebody would shoot him.

How is this sustainable. If you have to turn over stuff every week, how is farming going to work, because that takes all summer and you need to have materials built up for the next crop.

Ultimately, Rick had the chance to attack him, and it ended up simply being that Negan, who's no spring chicken is faster. Is this his basic mutant power, that he's a faster, better fighter?

I was surprised that they did kill Glen since I figured they would want to switch things up from the comic. Pretty brutal, the makeup on Glen was a spitting image of the panel from the comic. Actually I"ll miss Abraham more than Glenn but I'm glad they didn't siss out and kept an original character on the hit list, that was part of the impact from the comic, Glen had been there since the very beginning.

Remember The Hilltop was giving Negan supplies as well and we don't know who else or for how long was doing the same.

I think this show has gone too far into the torture porn for me. I did not enjoy that at all.

The whole show was basically a Negan monologue and close-ups of Rick's face.

I agree that it was a little too brutal for my tastes, but it's the worst situation the group's been in and so the most interesting (IMO) situation they've been in. I haven't read the comics, just a couple of wiki articles on the characters. I'm curious as to how all of this will play out.

We were at this juncture when they were at the trough for the new season at Terminus, but the Carol Ex Machina busted that up.

At this point, what we really know is that characters tend to leave the show when they've reached some level of inner peace and growth. Which was what Lost was kind of doing. And that turned out to be some kind of trippy after life thing that they denied because they're confusingly making crap up.

So basically, the Walking Dead is Purgatory. And these people are stuck there until they get out.
