In NBA you play a super-spy working against a vampire conspiracy. The game shares the Gumshoe system with games like Trail of Cthulhu, Ashen Stars and Fear Itself. It focuses on both investigation and action. It has been adapted and provides background info for spy thriller games and as well as a system to include your hand-crafted (vampire) conspiracy that works against the player characters. The Bad: - Some of the rules details are unnecessarily complicated and a bit confusing - It takes some practice to efficiently use the point-spending mechanic The Good: - Overall very well-written with good advice for director and players - Brilliantly crafted rules and material to model the spy-thriller genre - Modular design allows you to create your own vampire conspiracy, but the game works just as well without vampires - Very good modules available (for money)
