Next item: a quill with designs integrated into the feather.

The quill of flourishing verbosity used to write even the most simple phrase is transformed into dense and floury prose, virtually impossible to decipher.

Next Item: a grandmother clock.

Grandmother Clock - Construct
When dormant, Grandmother Clock appears as a 5"6' tall long case clock, about 6' square at the base.
She keeps time accurately without any need for winding or other maintenance, and if the owner is baking something, she chimes when it is done, without needing to be told to. She likes her cookies doughy though, so she may chime a little early...

When activated by command word, Grandmother Clock transforms into a Clockwork Automaton that fights defensively and focuses on protecting it's charges. It automatically protects the youngest allied creature.

"A Campfire Percolator Coffee Pot"

This blue-enameled steel coffee pot appears well used. Soot marks circle around its base. Its lid seems impossible to open. And it is empty. However, during each sunrise, if picked up, it feels heavy with coffee while steam suddenly pipes out the exotic fragrance. It pours enough coffee for four creatures, anticipating size. Each creature that drinks this coffee gains a maximum amount of temporary hit points equal to one of its hit dice for up to four hours. During these four hours, the creature enjoys a +5 bonus to Perception checks. However, the creature suffers a −5 penalty to Perception checks for four hours after that.

Next item: a cosmetics kit.[/QUOTE]

A kit, as stated in its name, that allows you to change your appearance at will. This will allow you to create your own appearance for up to one hour. Once it is either wiped off with water and a rag, or it wears off after the time frame, it must be reapplied to regain your desired look. Does not change physical characteristics such as strength, intelligence, dexterity, etc...

Next item: a length of thin chain with a mace head at one end and a handle at the other
(It is not a flail, as the chain is longer than the handle. On a flail, the chain is shortened so that the head does not crush the fingers if it gets out of control)

The Fail Flail can be used to attack as a normal flail but it breaks on a miss and the head flies off leaving the wielder holding the handle, which counts as an improvised weapon. It is not really supposed to be used at all, it being part of the ceremonial regalia of the Grandmaster of The Noble and Obsequious Order of The Drunken Luminaries, a secret society of small-minded grocers. If unbroken, it can be used to cast Heroes Feast once a month.

Next Item: a deck of cards with the sixes and eights missing

I did not use the word flail because this chain is longer than the handle. A flail has the chain shortened so that the head does not crush the fingers/ hand if it get out of control.

Next Item: a deck of cards with the sixes and eights missing

The cards were once owned by the Prince of (insert place here), the master card thrower. He was playing a game with his father when an attempted kidnapping occurred. He had to utilize the cards in his hands (all four sixes and all four eights) in an act of self defense and in order to allow himself to escape. He was never heard from again. His legendary deck will forever be missing the eights and sixes as a memorial to the Prince of _________.
