Brian, I doubt you're going to find this, but if you do, go away.
Now, to the topic at hand. I haven't go to in depth with him yet, but his general idea is that he is a Droid, that completely believes he is sentient. He is a human, just with a heavily modified body. I wanted to push this a bit more, and like the idea of him being a http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Shard. I haven't brought the idea up with him yet, and will soon have a more in-depth conversation with him about any history ideas he has for his PC. I was hoping for some advice, though.
My current idea is that he is a Shard hosted in a robotic body, allowing him to easily interact with other more common life forms. He sustained an injury and now has amnesia, causing him to forget what he really is. Have other GM's had any similar situations? Both in star wars and other systems, with mystery histories? what was some problems or things you wish you had down better? Players who had done this before? Things you wanted to be done or wish had been done differently?
