A tought eater resembles a 2 tall platypus skeleton. IOt floats throuught the ethereal plane. Only when it is attacking is it at all vulnerable. Despite its high intelligence, it lives only to feed.
COMBAT

A thought eater merely drains energy.

Drain (Su): After it is out of PSPs in the area ( a 60' radius) to be drained, it will feed upon cast spells, memorized spells (1 spell level = 5 PSPs), and Intelligence( 1 point = 10 PSPs), in that order. (Intelligence lost is temporary damage.) At 150 PSPs worth, is full, and departs.
Etherealness (Su): A thought eater cannot be hit except in acombat where it is trying to drain mental energy. To do this, it must become partially material. Spells affect thought eaters normally, as do magical weapons, in a semi-materialized state.
