It does not surprise me that the Fiend Patron is by far the top choice for character optimization. Eldritch blast + agonizing blast makes the warlock one of D&D's top (single target) ranged damaged dealers. The fiend patron sweetens this pot considerably with temp. HP gain for every creature you reduce to zero HP and it adds two powerful AOE damage spells to your list: fireball and wall of fire. These are great compliments to EB and even more fodder for temp. HP gain.
I am surprised that Archfey isn't doing better. Faerie fire, sleep and phantasmal force are all great low-level spells in the early game. At the higher levels, greater invisibility is a huge prize. Admittedly, the pact powers aren't as good as the fiend's.
