I'm glad to hear things have improved.

Ok, so "where to next" wise... I may be misreading the situation, but I think the party is still trying to figure out if we have a choice between going there or not. Ie, is there another island nearby, can we buy more time through cleverness/effort by bailing the water? If yes, going to the prison island isn't a good idea.

However, if we can't bail fast enough and there isn't an island close by, then the choice becomes "abandon ship" or "go to the prison island".

No worries...best not to try to force these things, if the fun has truly left. I've seen games limp along way past they stopped working because no one wanted to be the first to admit it.
