Because we're basically psychologically conditioned to associate Queen songs with good stuff at this point, and the movie folks think we'll be more inclined to think kindly of their stuff if they have a Queen song or two playing during the ads...

I'd go see it just for the meaningless eyecandy - I have absolutely no qualms about enjoying a film solely for the fights, sex and bad dialogue...
