Interesting. Would the different human tribe's have different game mechanics? I have always been a fan of human "subraces"

The lack of monstrous races is interesting with it being a new nation I would of imagined them as being savages living alongside the halflings.

Likely yes. I have not gone through all those ideas. This isn't some grand setting I've always had, more of an amalgamation of ideas to hit some notes I've been wanting to hit with some games.

Well, like I said, I would throw my hat in the ring if you decide to run. I like the idea of a treasure hunter discovering magic as he explores so I would probably want to run a fighter who goes eldritch knight. It's a neat idea and has a solid hook to give characters a reason to be there and work together.
