ability scores will be rolled and then presented to me to be balanced.

as for available sources, im more then happy to allow anything both printed and fun as long as you can make an interesting or creative backstory for why you have such odd training or where your race came from, but i am not a computer or an idiot so if you twist the rules or start "rules lawyer"ing i will start banning things or kicking players. "Break the game, i break you!" just play nice. its all i ask.

but as for books,im afraid i can only allow sources i own as i do not trust online sources due to there questionable malleability.

In the meantime, 6 x 4d6 (drop low) or some other method? This is (I think) fairly standard for elite arrays of stats. Any preferred roller?

no preferred roller. just as long as you get them. you can even roll at home if you would like, im going to be balancing them anyways.

roll 4D6, reroll 1s, drop lowest die. do this 6 times, those are your main stats.

then after they have been balanced, approved and placed, do it a separate 7th time. i will be using appearance.

both warforged and shifters are in the monster manuals i have and i know them both. ghostwise halfling is something iv never heard of.

just be aware: monsterus appearances will face persecution. social penalties will be applied.

but yes i approve. my usual Breaking rule applies but im too excited to limit your imaginations and as such, im willing to let you play whatever you want as long as it is sane and not OP.

LOL, you can take spellthief class, whatever you do, however you tweak the races and effects you'll never be anything powerful.

I like optimizing and I play classes others consider weak simply so I can fit in normal party (spellthief, truenamer, bard) - I didn't break anything yet :)
