So I play in AL also. My played level 2 paladin then went rest of the way as warlock. Currently pal 2/bladelock 4. I am absolutely loving the character. I get 2 level 1 spell slots and 2 level 2 warlock slots. I use the lower ones to hex and eldritch blast if our game has too many melee that day. And if I have to play tank then I can save the level one slots to pop a shield of faith in a hurry for extra tank. With my greatsword I can do major damage and smite for craziness.
