Traveller is Hot ?

Surprised to see that Traveller, is in the list of popular role-playing games.
This is one of the first science fiction role-playing games I played.
Over time, I stayed with a passion for this old Traveler-based skills.
Not as an old D&D original with its four classes and its level characters.
D&D is a race that will earn the most points of experience.

I play Traveller in french, and with time get many stuff from that RPG.

What did you think about Traveller?

Traveller was my second or third RPG. Loved it. I even thought it was cool when my first PC died during ChaGen. Got greedy and took one too many tours of duty- died a Colonel, though.

Same, i kill many of my character or i get old character to play.
Did you see , in new traveller like Mongoose Traveller ,your character get wounded ou sick, no more died.
Now your new Colonel get very old

Traveller got new life with its re-release in 2008 by Mongoose Publishing. It is still one of the best-written sci-fi RPGs on the market.

The second RPG I ever played, and on the same day that I played my first (D&D). Like every other game, it has its flaws and strengths, but it has stood up to the test of time quite well. I even got the Mongoose version, but not the updated one. Not yet, anyway.
